It is officially a remake of the 2023 Tamil film Garudan.

Set against the backdrop of a Vaarahi temple, Bhairavam centers on the lives of three friends played by Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas, Manoj Manchu, and Nara Rohith. The story explores their deep ties to the temple and the conflicts that arise around it. Blending action and drama, the film delves into betrayals, shifting loyalties, and the high-stakes power struggle connected to the temple's land and leadership.
