Bigg Boss Telugu 9 Update: The most loving reality show on television for the people of two Telugu-speaking states, Bigg Boss Telugu, is back in the headlines. The recent season of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 concluded only a couple of months ago and the news about the upcoming season is making the ardent fans of the reality show's concept overjoyed.

The last season saw Nikhil lifting the title trophy at the last minute although it was highly believed and reported that Gautham will be the winner. Ram Charan was present for the finale with Nagarjuna, the season's host giving away the title trophy along with him. The season wasn't a successful one compared to Bigg Boss Telugu 7 and there was an outrage from people who complained about Kannadigas largely occupying the show.

The Star Maa channel was also alleged to bring in all their job-less serial actors to the house as contestants, as part of their remuneration package. However, with a Kannadiga winning the title of Bigg Boss Telugu 8 season and many other complaints that made headlines, the makers of the prestigious show are now gearing up for another season albeit carefully.

Bigg Boss Telugu 9 From May?

Usually, Bigg Boss Telugu season will begin in September every year. However, with no edition of Bigg Boss Non-stop OTT version, the makers are planning to start the main season a bit early. Most likely, the new season will start in the month of May, according to a report on Asianet news.

Only Celebrities; No Commoners & Aged Contestants

Reportedly, the new season will only have popular celebrities as contestants and there will be no opportunity for the general public to be part of it. The makers have decided on it. With no proper love angles and entertainment in the previous season, a section of audiences complained of boredom. That is when the show's producers introduced Avinash, Gangavva, Tasty Teja, and Rohini as wildcard contestants to evoke laughter. However, with people who are above 45 years of age, there was always a problem for the makers of the show due to one or the other reasons apart from their physical condition. This time, there will be no older contestants as well.
