Vijay Deverakonda Demands HEFTY Remuneration For Bigg Boss Telugu 9: The buzz around Telugu TV's highly successful and controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, is getting interesting as the makers start preparation for the upcoming season. Bigg Boss Telugu 9 will see a new host if the rumour is anything to go by. And this time, young and a heartthrob for many women, Vijay Deverakonda will take the baton forward. The 'Kingdom' actor is going to replace Nagarjuna as the host for Bigg Boss Telugu 9, most likely.

Nagarjuna Quits As Bigg Boss Telugu Host
Following the reality show's regional debut in 2018 with none other than Jr NTR as its host, which remains the only top-rated season of the show, there were three hosts. The second season was hosted by Natural Star Nani, who miserably failed to impress the audiences. In addition, he faced severe backlash, prompting him to quit hosting once and for all.

Since season 3, Akkineni Nagarjuna was signed as the reality show's host. He has been doing the hosting for six consecutive years and also hosted an exclusive OTT version called Bigg Boss Nonstop. However, the veteran now decided to move on from the show although there were rumours about him quitting before Bigg Boss Telugu 7 and the previous season.

Vijay Deverakonda As New Host; HIGH Remuneration
The makers of the reality show, who reportedly held talks with Nandamuri Balakrishna, megastar Chiranjeevi, and Rana Daggubati before approaching Vijay Deverakonda, have finally decided to go ahead with Vijay Deverakonda by agreeing to his terms and conditions. The actor reportedly demanded Rs 15 Crore for the season as remuneration and the finalization is currently on.

Meanwhile, the producers team of the Bigg Boss Telugu season, which is aired on the Star Maa channel, are consciously taking measures to avoid backlash like the previous channel. They want to rope in fairly popular contestants and are steering away from including the serial actors of the Star Maa channel. The previous season went well until the finale, although was not a very good one TRP-wise. But giving away the Bigg Boss Telugu 8 trophy to a Kannada person and their domination inside the house didn't sit well with the ardent fans of the show.
