Champion Box Office Collection Day 3: Early Weekend Trend Becomes Clear For Roshan Meka’s Film

Champion Box Office Collection: The Telugu sports action-drama Champion, starring Roshan Meka in the lead and marking the Telugu debut of Anaswara Rajan, has completed its first three days in theaters and entered its fourth day today. The film was released on Thursday, December 25, under the banners of Swapna Cinema, Zee Studios, Anandi Art Creations, and Concept Films.

According to early estimates from box office tracker Sacnilk, Champion has grossed approximately ₹6 crore India net over its opening three days.

Box Office Performance

The film opened on Christmas Day with a collection of ₹2.75 crore. However, collections dropped on Friday to ₹1.5 crore, a decline of around 45%, before picking up slightly on Saturday with an estimated ₹1.75 crore (rough data). The three-day total stands at ₹6 crore.

Champion Worldwide Box Office Collection

Swapna Cinema, one of the production banners behind Champion, shared an update on social media stating that the film has grossed over ₹8.89 crore worldwide in its first three days.

The performance on Sunday, December 28, will be closely observed to gauge how the film is sustaining audience interest and shaping up for its first full week.

About the Film

Champion is set in pre-independence Secunderabad and follows the story of Michael, a talented footballer chasing his dreams in London. His journey takes an unexpected turn that alters the course of his life.

The film features Roshan Meka, Anaswara Rajan, and several supporting actors. The technical crew includes Pradeep Advaitham as writer and director, Madhie ISC handling cinematography, Mickey J Meyer composing music, and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing. The production also involves stunt choreography by Peter Hein, production design by Thota Tharani, and additional contributions from a wide range of creative professionals, including co-director Sai Krishna Donepudi and script producer Rutham Samar.
