Chhaava Box Office Collection: The Telugu-dubbed version of Chhaava, a historical action film depicting the life of Sambhaji Maharaj, hit theaters across Telugu states on March 7, 2025. Starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, the film is based on Shivaji Sawant's Marathi novel Chhava. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, it also features Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in key roles.
Originally released in Hindi on February 14, 2025, the film's music and background score are composed by A. R. Rahman. Geetha Arts is handling the distribution in Telugu states, expanding its reach to a wider audience.

According to film industry tracker Ramesh Bala, Chhaava has witnessed a strong response at the box office. Sharing the Telugu version's performance, he stated that the film has grossed over ₹6.81 crore in just two days. The collection on Day 2 surpassed that of Day 1, indicating growing momentum. With positive trends, the film is expected to see even bigger numbers on Day 3.

Chhaava boasts a stellar cast, with Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna in key roles, alongside Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, Diana Penty, and Santosh Juvekar.
Presented in Telugu by Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas under Geetha Arts Distribution, the film's Hindi version is backed by Maddock Films. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the Telugu release is overseen by Geetha Arts Distribution. The film's co-producers include Sharada Karki Jalota and Pooja Prem Patheja, with A. R. Rahman composing the soundtrack and background score. The adapted story and screenplay are credited to Laxman Utekar, Rishi Virmani, Kaustubh Savarkar, Unman Bankar, and Omkar Mahajan, with dialogues penned by Rishi Virmani.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Saurabh Goswami (ISC), editor Manish Pradhan, and production designers Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray. Lyrics are written by Irshad Kamil, with additional Marathi lyrics by Kshitij Patwardhan. The film's action is choreographed by Parvez Shaikh and Todor Lazaroy, while Vijay Ganguly handles the dance choreography. Costume design is by Sheetal Iqbal Sharma, with prosthetic effects crafted by Preetisheel Singh D'souza. Sound design is managed by Bishwadeep Chatterjee, and the re-recording mixer is Alok De.
Sanjeev Mishra serves as the associate producer, with Shraddha S Thorat as associate executive producer. The team also includes chief assistant director Eeshaan Roy, script supervisor Amod Burande, and associate director (shoot) Jatin Bajaj. Art direction is helmed by Avijit Gosh, Dilip Ganpati Rokade, and Rajat Pathare.
