Chhaava Telugu: Vicky Kaushal & Rashmika Mandanna's Historic Actioner Poised For Super Solid Opening Weekend

Chhaava Telugu Poised For A BIG & Bright Opening Weekend: Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts banners bought the Telugu dubbing rights to Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer historical action drama titled Chhaava. The movie directed by Laxman Utekar is the most profitable film of the year in Bollywood and has already surpassed Rs 500 Crore mark at the domestic box office with a worldwide collection of Rs 676 Crore (approximately).

Chhaava Telugu movie was released amid decent hype on March 7 to a stunning response. On the opening day, Chhaava Telugu made a good Rs 3 Crore from the two states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. With the kind of advance bookings and increased occupancy ratio on the weekend, Chhaava Telugu is going to set a new record at the box office.

Chhava is based on the book written by Shivaji Sawant on the history of Chhatrapati Sambhaji. Vicky Kaushal played the lead role as Sambhaji and delivered a stunning performance, winning accolades. The movie unleashed a box office storm in Bollywood after its release on February 14 and was postponed from December 5 to avoid a clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2.

Concern Expressed Over Telugu Dubbing

While the movie impressed the audiences, a few section of them have found the dubbing work not up to the mark. The movie's theatrical trailer clocked over 4.5 million views and the pre-release plans were elaborate for the film. However, the not-very complimenting dubbing irked the movie viewers, reportedly.

The historical action-drama stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Diana Penty, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, Varun Buddhadev, Santosh Juvekar, Alok Nath, Pradeep Rawat, and Kiran Karmarkar among others in key roles.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan under the Maddock Films banners, the movie's cinematography was handled by Saurabh Goswami and Manish Pradhan worked as the editor.
