It was reported that the octogenarian was hospitalized following a critical medical emergency and is undergoing treatment with constant supervision. The latest buzz, however, cleared the air as the media management team of Chiranjeevi reacted to the news.

After the massive success of Sankranthiki Vasthunam directed by Anil Ravipudi, Chiranjeevi immediately okayed a project with the young filmmaker. Before that, he signed a film with 'Dasara' fame Srikanth Odela under the production of Nani's home banner. The pre-production works for both the movies are currently underway.
