FIR Filed Against Nandamuri Balakrishna Fans

Amid the release of Daaku Maharaaj, Nandamuri fans celebrated by sacrificing a goat and smearing a poster with the blood. The video went viral on social media. PETA India filed a complaint against the same after it came in their notice. Based on the same, Tirupati police also registered an FIR against a group of Balakrishna fans who sacrificed the goat. HT reports, Saloni Sakaria, PETA India cruelty response coordinator, saying, "Killing an animal and smearing their blood on a poster doesn't make you a super fan-it makes you a villain and a criminal. True fans celebrate their favourite stars with movie tickets and supportive social media posts, not with acts of violence or cruelty.."
