Empuraan Telugu Box Office Collection Day 1 Estimates: Amid sky-high expectations and a trend-setting opening day advance bookings, Mohanlal's hyped sequel to Lucifer, L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran was released worldwide in five languages on March 27. The movie written by Murali Gopy opened to over Rs 59 Crore in advance bookings worldwide with Rs 50 Crore opening in Kerala alone. Prithviraj Sukumaran, an ardent fan boy of Lalettan, delivered a delicious treat for the hungry fans. The movie is filled with several high moments for Mohanlal's fans and his introduction scene is reverberating with them all.

According to the Sacnilk website, the Telugu advance bookings for Empuraan earned up to Rs 5172864 by selling 39155 tickets for 1378 shows. By the end of its day 1 performance, the movie is expected to make over Rs 1 Crore from the two Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
