The movie has its story written by Karthik Subbaraj and has Kiara Advani and Anjali in the female lead roles. Upon its hyped theatrical release in Tamil and Telugu, Game Changer garnered negative reviews and became a box office epic flop. Ram Charan played a double role as a father and son in the movie which talks about the typical Shankar's tropes like corruption, fair election, and justice.
