Hari Hara Veera Mallu Pre-release Event And Press Meet: The team behind Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword vs Spirit ~ Battle for Dharma, an upcoming Telugu period action-adventure film featuring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, has announced key promotional events ahead of the film's theatrical release. As part of the pre-release schedule, a press conference and a grand public event are set to take place today in Hyderabad.

According to the production team, Pawan Kalyan will begin the day (July 21) by addressing the media at a press meet scheduled for 10 AM at Park Hyatt, Hyderabad. This interaction is expected to cover not only the film's production journey but also its thematic backdrop and challenges faced during its making.

Later in the evening, a grand pre-release event will be held at Shilpakala Vedika, starting at 6 PM. The event will feature appearances by prominent political figures and film personalities. With the release date set for July 24, 2025, the event marks one of the final major promotional steps before the film hits theaters.

Period Drama Nears Release After Long Production Delay

Directed initially by Krish Jagarlamudi and later completed under the direction of A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the film has seen a prolonged and complex production timeline. Project announced in January 2020, Hari Hara Veera Mallu encountered multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political commitments. Filming, which began in September 2020, was wrapped only in May 2025.

Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, the film tells the fictional story of Veera Mallu, an outlaw who rises against imperial oppression. According to the makers, the character's arc is rooted in themes of resistance, justice, and revolution. The narrative follows his mission to challenge the power structures of the time.

The cast includes Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj in key roles. The technical crew features a large team including cinematographers Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnana Shekar V.S., editor KL Praveen, and music composer M. M. Keeravaani. Action sequences have been designed by a group of international and Indian stunt coordinators, including Nick Powell, Peter Hein, and Shyam Kaushal.

A. Dayakar Rao serves as the producer of the film under the Mega Surya Production banner, with A.M. Rathnam presenting the project.
