The period action film, which has faced multiple delays over the past few years, is finally nearing release, and the trailer is expected to offer audiences a first proper look at the ambitious period action drama.
Announcing the trailer drop, the production team shared the update with a dramatic caption: "Declaring the Battle for a Shattering Revolution. The Power Packed & Explosive #HHVMTrailer will be unleashed on July 3rd at 11:10AM." The update has drawn attention across fan communities, especially given the extended wait since the film's initial announcement back in 2020.
Long-Delayed Period Drama Moves Closer to Release
The direction of the film began under Krish Jagarlamudi, with A. M. Jyothi Krishna later stepping in to handle parts of the project; the film has had a long production journey. Delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political commitments pushed back filming schedules several times. Now, with a confirmed theatrical release date of July 24, 2025, the team appears to be accelerating promotional activities.
Set in the 17th-century Mughal era, the film is said to be a swashbuckler period action drama that follows the legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, who is tasked with the mission of stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from the Mughals. Pawan Kalyan leads the cast in the titular role, with Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nora Fatehi, Nargis Fakhri, and Satyaraj in significant supporting roles.
The technical crew includes cinematographers Gnanashekar and Manoj Paramahamsa, music by M. M. Keeravaani, and editing by Praveen KL. The film also features extensive visual effects work by multiple studios, including Sozo Studios, Unifi Media, and Metavfx.
The film's production design is by Thota Tharani, with action choreography by a team including Sham Kaushal, Ram-Laxman, and Dhileep Subbarayan. Costume design is handled by Neeta Lulla and Aiswarya Rajeev, and post-production work, including DI and sound mix, has taken place at Annapurna Studios.
With the trailer now slated for release, all eyes are on July 3 as the team begins building momentum toward the film's late July theatrical debut.
