Pawan Kalyan's Period Action Drama Eyes Strong Box Office Debut
Set in the 17th-century Mughal Empire, the film follows the journey of a fictional rebel named Veera Mallu. Pawan Kalyan plays the titular character, a warrior who challenges imperial forces in pursuit of justice. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A. M. Jyothi Krishna, the film has seen a long and eventful production journey since its initial announcement in 2020. Production faced multiple delays due to the pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political commitments, concluding only in May 2025.
The cast also includes Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and Satyaraj in key roles. A robust technical crew supports the film, including composer M. M. Keeravani and cinematographers Manoj Paramahamsa and Gnana Shekar V.S.
Advance bookings have opened not only in the U.S. but also across major Telugu-speaking territories. Given the film's scale, star power, and genre, exhibitors are hopeful for a strong opening. The film is set to be released in standard and EPIQ formats, which could further draw audiences seeking a larger-than-life cinematic experience.
As "Hari Hara Veera Mallu" gears up for its July 24 release, attention remains focused on how it will perform at the box office both domestically and internationally. The current trends in advance bookings suggest that the film is poised for a promising start.
