HIT 3 Nizam Opening Day Box Office: Nani co-produced and acted in the latest sequel to Sailesh Kolanu's crime thriller films under the 'HITverse' segment, HIT: The Third Case aka HIT 3. Made on a budget of Rs 65 Crore and bringing 'KGF' fame Srinidhi Shetty to Tollywood, the movie which featured Nani in a new action-packed avatar of a cop, was released worldwide after a long wait and high expectations on May 1.

The movie, HIT 3, had to face competition from none other than Suriya, Karthik Subbaraj, and Pooja Hegde's period action drama titled Retro. Upon hitting the screens in multiple south-Indian languages, Nani's HIT 3 went on to conquer many box office records in India and worldwide.

After the movie was released, HIT 3 earned mixed reviews for its story, screenplay, background score, and treatment. But, Nani, who pulled the movie together, is garnering praise for his terrific performance as a relentless cop, Arjun Sarkaar IPS. In addition to producing the film, Nani, who believed that he can pull off Arjun Sarkaar's role, made another milestone achievement with the film's pre-release business as well as the opening day collection.

Overall, Nani's HIT 3 made Rs 43 Crore worldwide on its opening day, according to the official statement and poster from Wall Poster Cinema banner's social media post. From India, HIT 3 made about Rs 19 Crore (including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam).

In HIT 3, Nani plays Arjun Sarkaar IPS, a ruthless and violent cop with no remorse. HIT: The Third Case follows a new challenge, a new criminal, and other gruesome killings, featuring Arjun Sarkar as the protagonist. Known for being ruthless and having a rogue attitude, this IPS officer carries a headstrong will when he gets transferred to Visakhapatnam from Jammu and Kashmir. He commits a murder and realizes that there are a series of similar murders happening around. When he embarks on a quest for the killer, he unknowingly enters a struggle for survival mode.
