HIT 3 USA Box Office: Nani-Sailesh Kolanu's Thriller Becomes Actor's Biggest Overseas Opener; Beats Dasara

HIT 3 Beats 'Dasara' USA Box Office Record: Nani's latest crime thriller, an investigative drama that is a sequel to HIT 2, HIT: The Third Case, was released to a sensational buzz around it on May 1 worldwide. Director Sailesh Kolanu's film showcased the actor in a new action avatar that shocked one and all. Srinidhi Shetty played the female lead's character, and Karthi is introduced as the lead actor of HIT 4 towards the climax.

In HIT 3, Nani plays Arjun Sarkaar IPS, a ruthless and violent cop with no remorse. HIT: The Third Case follows a new challenge, a new criminal, and other gruesome killings, featuring Arjun Sarkar as the protagonist. Known for being ruthless and having a rogue attitude, this IPS officer carries a headstrong will when he gets transferred to Visakhapatnam from Jammu and Kashmir. The movie has another sequel and will include actors from all languages to keep the HIT verse running.

HIT 3 Beats Dasara

In the success meet that was organised by the distributors of Nani's HIT 3, ace producer Dil Raju mentioned that HIT 3 surpassed Dasara's box office numbers in the USA by becoming the biggest opening overseas for the actor in his career. He further added, "In April, many single screens had no proper releases, and some even shut down. At such a time, all our hopes were on HIT 3. We were holding our breath, wondering if the audience would come. But seeing the bookings from the last three days gave us relief."

The crime-thriller stars Nani as Arjun Sarkar IPS, SP of HIT, Srinidhi Shetty as Mrudula, Surya Srinivas as Ravi IPS, Adil Pala as Zubair Ahmed Khan, Rao Ramesh as DGP Nageswara Rao, Adarsh Balakrishna as Raghu, Brahmaji as R. Shinde, Ravi Mariya as Jairam, and Maganti Srinath as Abhilash among others in key roles.

The movie has its entire music and background score composed by Mickey J. Meyer. Karthika Srinivas handled the editing and Sanu John Varghese cranked the camera. Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani bankrolled the project under the Wall Poster Cinema banner.
