Nani's HIT 3 Vs. Suriya's Retro Worldwide Opening Day Collection: Natural star Nani and Kollywood's superstar Suriya, involuntarily arrived at a worldwide box office clash with their most prestigious and hyped action thrillers titled 'HIT 3' and 'Retro.' With an immense pre-release buzz and sky-high expectations, both movies debuted amid fans' cheering and rooting for them. Nani is enjoying a great success streak but Suriya, who faced a disaster like Kanguva, is desperate for success.

After the theatrical debut, both films earned largely mixed reviews and the lead actors met with critical applause for their top-notch performances. Both films had terrific leads who were impeccable crowd-pullers but how the directors handled the films' stories, screenplay, and treatment drew criticism.

HIT 3 Vs. Retro Advance Bookings Before Premiere

Nani's HIT 3 made Rs 17 Crore in pre-bookings worldwide, while Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj's film only settled for Rs 14 Crore.

Suriya, who is awaiting a major comeback, delivered career's best and highest openings in Tamil Nadu and worldwide with Karthik Subbaraju's Padam. The movie, however, needs to hold rock solid to pass the litmus test over the opening weekend.

The poster showcased Rs 43 Crore as the day 1 gross for HIT 3 from all languages. The official social media handle wrote, SARKAAR'S BOX OFFICE MAYHEM collects a whopping 43+ CRORES GROSS WORLDWIDE on DAY 1 💥💥

Nani As A Violent Cop Arjun Sarkaar

HIT: The Third Case follows a new challenge, a new criminal, and other gruesome killings, featuring Arjun Sarkar as the protagonist. Known for being ruthless and having a rogue attitude, this IPS officer carries a headstrong will when he gets transferred to Visakhapatnam from Jammu and Kashmir. He commits a gruesome murder and then finds out that there are similar murders that happened in the same fashion. His quest for the murderer puts him in a life threatening situation where he has to kill for survival.

The crime-thriller stars Nani as Arjun Sarkar IPS, SP of HIT, Srinidhi Shetty as Mrudula, Surya Srinivas as Ravi IPS, Adil Pala as Zubair Ahmed Khan, Rao Ramesh as DGP Nageswara Rao, Adarsh Balakrishna as Raghu, Brahmaji as R. Shinde, Ravi Mariya as Jairam, and Maganti Srinath as Abhilash among others in key roles. Karthi is the protagonist of HIT 4 and his introduction scene made theatres erupt. Adivi Sesh also was seen in a cameo.
