HIT 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection Day 1: Natural star Nani's latest crime thriller filled with violent and gore, HIT: The Third Case, made its highly awaited theatrical debut on May 1 worldwide. The sequel to Sailesh Kolanu's 'HITverse' films HIT 2, which featured Adivi Sesh, the third part carried intense action and expectations as Nani decided to become the protagonist, Arjun Sarkaar, in addition to funding the movie on a budget of Rs 65 Crore.

Starring Srinidhi Shetty as the female lead, marking her Telugu debut and first collaboration with Nani, HIT 3 opened to largely positive reviews but a section of audience called out the routine story, uninteresting narration and forceful cameos. While a few opined that the movie could have had a better background score, many felt the violence and bloodshed with Nani's performance is the only aspect of the film that is pulling crowds. Nonetheless, Nani's film made a sensational day 1 collection at the box office and set a strong stage for the extended opening weekend. The makers of the film also revealed Karthi as the protagonist of HIT 4 aka HIT: The Fourth Case.

From the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions, Nani's HIT 3 movie made about Rs 19 Crore on the release day from India. In the northern USA, Nani set another record by making $1.1 Million, his highest, fastest, and biggest so far (surpassed Dasara). The industry experts, fans, and trade analysts predict $ 2 Million for Nani within the opening weekend.
