HIT: The Third Case (HIT 3) Worldwide Box Office Collection: Nani's Film Crosses ₹82 Crore Mark In 3 Days

HIT 3 Box Office Collection: The third installment in the HIT Universe, HIT: The Third Case, has registered a solid opening at the global box office. The Telugu-language action thriller, led by Nani and directed by Sailesh Kolanu, hit theaters on May 1, 2025, and has reportedly earned over ₹82 crore in worldwide gross within its first three days.
Produced under the banners of Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, the film builds on the events of HIT: The Second Case (2022) and further expands the crime-investigation franchise. It features Nani as SP Arjun Sarkaar, a cop who goes undercover to dismantle a dark web syndicate known as CTK, which is allegedly linked to ritual killings and illegal organ trafficking.

On social media, production banner Wall Poster Cinema highlighted the film's strong initial run by stating that HIT 3 had grossed over ₹82 crore worldwide in its first three days. In their post, they described the film's box office performance as the "Sarkaar Show," referring to Nani's character, and hinted at a busy Sunday ahead with "massive bookings all over." In another update, the makers noted that more than one million tickets had been sold through BookMyShow alone, indicating solid footfalls and sustained audience interest across regions.
The film has been shot across multiple locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Jammu & Kashmir. Principal photography began in September 2024, following its official announcement in late 2022. Alongside Nani, the film stars Srinidhi Shetty as ASP Mridula and features an extended ensemble cast, including Komalee Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, and Ravindra Vijay. Cameos by Adivi Sesh and Karthi connect the film to earlier entries in the HIT franchise.
Technically, the film boasts cinematography by Sanu John Varghese and music by Mickey J. Meyer. Karthika Srinivas handled the editing. The narrative unfolds in a procedural format, following Sarkaar's strategic entry into the CTK network and his uncovering of a deeper conspiracy involving powerful players.
With a post-credit scene teasing the potential for another sequel, the franchise appears poised to continue. Whether HIT 3 can maintain momentum through its second week will be key in determining the extent of its commercial success, especially as it heads into regular weekdays after a holiday-boosted start.
