HIT 3 Worldwide Box Office Collection: Nani's latest outing, HIT: The Third Case, has made a strong impact at the global box office, collecting over ₹101 crore in gross earnings within four days of its release. The film, which opened in theaters on May 1, 2025, is the third entry in Sailesh Kolanu's expanding HIT Universe and serves as a direct sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022).
Wall Poster Cinema, the production house behind the franchise, shared the milestone on social media, referring to Nani's character Arjun Sarkaar as the 'BoxOfficeKaSarkaar' and highlighting the film's 'massive first weekend.' The announcement also included the updated gross, covering both domestic and overseas collections.
In the United States, the film has reportedly crossed the $2 million mark, a noteworthy performance for a Telugu-language thriller. Industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai confirmed the film's strong performance in the North American market, where Nani enjoys a steady following.

Directed and written by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Third Case sees Nani stepping into the shoes of SP Arjun Sarkaar, a high-ranking officer in the Visakhapatnam branch of the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). The story follows Sarkaar's investigation into a series of brutal murders that lead him across various regions of India, eventually placing him and his colleagues in life-threatening situations. The narrative continues the franchise's gritty and investigative tone, interweaving multiple timelines and jurisdictions.
The film was shot across Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Jammu & Kashmir, with principal photography beginning in September 2024. Srinidhi Shetty plays the role of ASP Mridula, with Surya Srinivas, Rao Ramesh, Samuthirakani, and others in key roles. The cast also includes special appearances from Adivi Sesh, Maganti Srinath, and Karthi, further reinforcing the idea of an interconnected HIT universe.
Behind the scenes, the film features cinematography by Sanu John Varghese, editing by Karthika Srinivas, and music by Mickey J. Meyer. Production design was handled by Sri Nagendra Tangala.
