Hit 3 OTT Release Date: HIT: The Third Case, the third installment in the Telugu action thriller franchise, is scheduled to release on Netflix on May 29, 2025. Following its worldwide theatrical release on May 1, the film will be available for streaming in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Directed and written by Sailesh Kolanu, 'HIT 3' stars Nani as SP Arjun Sarkaar, a determined officer with the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). The story follows Arjun as he investigates a series of brutal murders linked to a secretive cult. As the case unfolds, Arjun goes undercover, confronting dangerous adversaries and navigating complex alliances. The film also features Srinidhi Shetty, who plays ASP Mrudula, and a supporting cast that includes Surya Srinivas, Rao Ramesh, and Samuthirakani.
Production of HIT: The Third Case began in September 2024 and wrapped up by March 2025. The filming took place across Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Jammu and Kashmir. Mickey J. Meyer composed the film's music, while cinematography was led by Sanu Varghese and editing handled by Karthika Srinivas.
Netflix officially announced the OTT release with a social media post stating, "He's Arjun for the loved ones and Sarkaar for the criminals. Watch HIT: The Third Case, out 29 May, on Netflix in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada."
The HIT franchise has expanded with each installment, with The Third Case continuing to explore themes of justice and crime investigation through its storyline. For those who missed the theatrical release, the digital premiere offers an opportunity to watch the film from home starting May 29.
The production of the film was handled by Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, with Prashanti Tipirneni taking on the producer's role. Other key crew members include production designer Sri Nagendra Tangala and sound design by Sync Cinema.
HIT: The Third Case continues the franchise's focus on crime-solving narratives, this time centered on undercover investigation and cult-related activity. The film will be available for streaming on Netflix in multiple languages beginning May 29.
