Dil Raju's Wife Tejaswini Talks About IT Raids: The Income Tax department officials carried out a raid at ace filmmaker and FDC Chairman, Dil Raju's house and office in Hyderabad at a time on January 21, in light of his two new releases for Sankranthi. Not only on Dil Raju but the IT department cracked the whip on Mythri Movie Makers also, at a time. As many as 55 teams have entered the properties of Dil Raju and the producers of Pushpa 2 to conduct a thorough scrutiny of the records. Dil Raju's brother Sirish's house, his daughter Hansitha Reddy's house and office were also raided.

Dil Raju's Game Changer starring Ram Charan, and directed by Shankar is a high-budget film which was made for about Rs 400 Crore. The movie met with mixed reviews and is struggling to break even. However, his other film, a complete family entertainer made by Anil Ravipudi with Venkatesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Aishwarya Rajesh, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, hit the screens to immense appreciation.

Speaking about the raids, Dil Raju's wife Tejaswini said that the bank officials had taken the bank lockers for inspection and asked for details. Her statement confirmed the raids and she hinted that they are routine IT checks. Tejaswini also revealed that they have furnished the necessary information and the lockers were opened for investigation.

This is not the first time that IT officials have raided the house of Dil Raju. Earlier too, the producer was inspected along with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 producers, Mythri Movie Makers. Dil Raju's collaboration with Shankar for a larger-than-life budgeted film and its underwhelming performance is one factor for the heads concerned to launch a sudden raid.

On the other hand, the unexpected scale of success Venkatesh's family comedy-drama which was bankrolled by Dil Raju, is seeing high profits with its break-even achieved within three days after its release.
