Kalpana Raghevendar's Daughter Refutes Suicide Claim, Reveals REASON Of Hospitalization, "Don't Spread Rumors"

Kalpana Raghavendra Suicide Attempt Case: Noted Telugu singer Kalpana Raghavendar has been making headlines since Tuesday after she was rushed to hospital when she was found unconsious at her home. It was Kalpana's neighbours who informed the police after she didn't open doors for days. Further reports suggested that it was Kalpana's husband who called the neighbours after she didn't pick up her calls. After police forcibly opened the door with assistance, Kalpana was found lying unconscious, and she was admitted to the Holistic Hospital in Nizampet, Hyderabad. Preliminary reports suggested that the singer attempted suicide by taking sleeping pills. Now, her daughter came forward to reveal the actual reason of her hospitalization refuting the suicide claims.

While several reports claimed that the singer was going through depression for the trouble in her personal life, it was further speculated that this might be the reason of her suicide attempt. Now, Kalpana's daughter claimed that it was not a case of suicide, but her mother was suffering from insomnia for which she takes sleeping pills regularly. She also revealed that overdose of sleeping pills made Kalpana 'unconscious'. She further asked to not spread any rumours revealing the real reason of her stress, "We do not have any family issues. I don't have any differences with my mother. She is under stress with professional things."

She further told, "My mother has no issues. She is perfectly fine, happy and healthy. She is a singer and is also pursuing her PhD and LLB, which led to insomnia. To treat her insomnia, she took the tablets prescribed by her doctor. Due to stress, there was a slight drug overdose. Please do not manipulate or misinterpret any news."

Kalpana Raghevendar is a noted Telugu and Malayalam singer, who has participated in Bigg Boss Telugu 1, had recorded more than 1500 songs. The is the daughter of noted singers T.S. Raghavendar & Sulochana.
