Kalpika Ganesh's Pub Altercation Resurfaces Online: A video featuring Telugu actress Kalpika Ganesh involved in an altercation at a Hyderabad pub has gone viral on social media, weeks after the incident initially occurred. The episode reportedly took place on May 29, 2025, at Prism Pub in Gachibowli, where the actress was celebrating her birthday.

According to a report by News18, the conflict began when Kalpika allegedly attempted to bring an external birthday cake into the venue, which the staff did not allow. The situation quickly escalated after the refusal, with the pub management accusing the actress of creating a disturbance and behaving aggressively.

Following the incident, the pub staff lodged a complaint at the Gachibowli police station, alleging that Kalpika refused to pay her bill, used inappropriate language, threw plates, and damaged property. She was also accused of body-shaming employees and continuing to behave disruptively even after police personnel arrived at the scene.

Based on the complaint and subsequent court approval, a case was registered against Kalpika Ganesh on June 10. The charges include Section 352 (assault or criminal force) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with other applicable provisions. The investigation is currently ongoing, and authorities have stated that further action will be taken based on evidence.

Meanwhile, Kalpika Ganesh has denied the allegations. She took to Instagram shortly after the incident, sharing her side of the story through a video. In the footage, she is seen arguing with pub staff over the club's refusal to allow an external cake. She also claimed she had been mistreated and alleged that the police officers present had not handled the situation fairly.

In the video, the manager is heard explaining the pub's policy on birthday cakes, while Kalpika expresses her frustration, saying other clubs offer better hospitality. She is also seen tearing and discarding the bill, an act that was later cited in the complaint.

Kalpika captioned the video with a strong message criticizing both the club's management and the police, naming specific officers and accusing them of unprofessional conduct.
