Kannappa Advance Booking: Pre-sales for Kannappa, the upcoming Telugu mythological action drama led by Vishnu Manchu, are officially set to open in the Telugu-speaking regions on Wednesday, June 25. The announcement was made by Vishnu Manchu himself through a social media post on Tuesday evening, as the movie is scheduled to release worldwide on 27 June 2025.

Even before the bookings begin in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, ticket sales have already commenced in major metro cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kochi. Overseas markets, including the USA, Australia, and Singapore, have also started accepting advance reservations, indicating the film's early outreach to a wider audience.

Mythological Drama with Star-Studded Cast and Global Release

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by veteran actor and filmmaker Mohan Babu, Kannappa is rooted in the legendary tale of the eponymous devotee of Lord Shiva. The film tells the story of a tribal hunter, originally an atheist, who becomes a devoted follower of Shiva and famously offers his own eyes as an act of supreme devotion.

Vishnu Manchu takes on the lead role in the film, with supporting performances by Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, and others. The ensemble also features Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, and Raghu Babu. Notably, the film will feature special cameo appearances by prominent stars such as Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal.

The production of Kannappa was launched on August 18, 2023. Principal photography began in September 2023, with New Zealand serving as the primary filming location. The cinematography is handled by Sheldon Chau, while the music has been composed by Stephen Devassy. The film's score features a range of traditional instruments, with contributions from musicians like Kuttappan Chazhiyattiri and Unnikrishnan Chittanda on kuzhal (a South Indian wind instrument). The Dolby Atmos sound mixing has been carried out at Annapurna Studios.

The film is backed by Twenty Four Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment, with a technical team that includes editor Anthony Gonsalvez, production designer Chinna, and stunt coordinator Kecha Khamphakdee. Choreography is handled by Prabhudeva, Brinda, and Ganesh.

With advance booking opening tomorrow in Telugu-speaking regions and already underway elsewhere, Kannappa is gearing up for its theatrical debut on June 27.
