Kannappa Cast Salary: Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa is among the most anticipated Telugu films of 2025. The movie tells the story of Kannappa, a legendary devotee of Lord Shiva from Hindu mythology. Vishnu Manchu takes on the lead role, portraying the unwavering faith and devotion of Kannappa in a powerful way.

Produced by Mohan Babu, Kannappa revolves around a young hunter named Thinnadu, who begins his journey as a non-believer in Lord Shiva. However, his life takes a spiritual turn after a series of powerful and transformative experiences, eventually turning him into one of Shiva's most devoted followers.

Vishnu Manchu plays the central character, with the film boasting a rich lineup of supporting actors including Mohan Babu, Brahmanandam, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmaji, Rahul Madhav, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, and Preity Mukhundhan.

Adding to the film's grandeur, several big stars make special appearances. Prabhas has an extended cameo as Rudra, a Vedic deity, with around 45 minutes of screen time. Mohanlal steps into the role of Kirata, a tribal warrior.

Akshay Kumar makes a special appearance as Lord Shiva, while Kajal Aggarwal plays the role of Goddess Parvati.

Amid a huge buzz and high expectations, Kannappa is confirmed to hit the silver screen on June 27.

Kannappa features a blend of iconic actors and rising stars, each bringing something unique to the mythological tale.

Akshay Kumar, who appears in a cameo as Lord Shiva, is reported to have charged Rs 6 crores for his role, according to a DNA report

On the other hand, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal plays a mysterious and significant character in the film. Despite having an extended role, Mohanlal has chosen not to take any payment for his performance.

Similarly, Prabhas, who plays the powerful Rigvedic deity Rudra, has reportedly worked on the film without charging any fee, much like Mohanlal.

Details about the remuneration of lead actor Vishnu Manchu, Kajal Aggarwal, and other cast members have not yet been disclosed.
