Kannappa: Manchu Vishnu Elaborates On Negativity From Telugu Audience; Says, 'They Intentionally Spread..'
Manchu Vishnu Elaborates On Kannappa: Manchu Vishnu's high-budget, star-studded, and prestigious film to date, Kannappa, is a fantasy action entertainer set against the mythological background of Lord Shiva's devotee Tinnadu. The movie is having its final touches and is in the post-production phase. The movie is going to hit the screens worldwide in five languages on April 25. The top attraction of this remarkable project is Prabhas and Akshay Kumar. The movie was made on a whopping budget of Rs 100-150 Crore with Mohan Babu at the helm.
The movie boasts of renowned actors and veterans who are continuing to rule the roost in Kollywood, Mollywood, and Bollywood, apart from Tollywood. Along with Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, and Sarathkumar among many others are part of the film. However, there is an interesting aspect of this big-budget film which is being funded by Manchu Vishnu and Mohan Babu under their own banners.

Kannappa was conceived as a pan-India film and completed more than 80% of its shooting in a single schedule in New Zealand. The required props, sets, and other materials for the shooting of the film have been sent in several containers and shipped to the country where the natural landscape was utilized to bring the period backdrop.
When the film's teaser was released, Manchu Vishnu as well as the glimpse met harsh criticism for the graphics and its over-the-top natural green cover, which made it look like an advertisement. The teaser was trolled brutally. However, the recently released 'Shivayya' song turned the tables for this Vishnu Manchu-starrer. A lot of appreciation is pouring in for the film after the lyric video was dropped.
Manchu Vishnu About Negativity On Kannappa From Telugu Audience
Speaking to a YouTube channel recently, Manchu Vishnu, who is also the President of Movie Artists Association (MAA), shared many things about Kannappa, his life, Prabhas, etc. Talking about the kind of negativity surrounding Kannappa, the actor-producer said, "We released the Kannappa teaser in five languages. There was 0% negativity in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. There is about a percent of negativity in Hindi but there is about 15-20% of negativity in Telugu. It is proof that our people intentionally spread negativity by looking at every small detail."
