Kannappa Advance Booking: Kannappa, the upcoming Telugu mythological action drama starring Vishnu Manchu, is set to open with special premieres across North America on June 26, ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on June 27. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by veteran actor Mohan Babu, the film draws on the legend of Kannappa, a devotee of Lord Shiva, and is positioned as a large-scale multilingual release.

According to an update shared by industry tracker Venky Box Office on X (formerly Twitter), the film has recorded total premiere advance bookings of around $25,000 in North America. The breakdown indicates $23,193 in sales from 577 shows across 298 locations, with 1,113 tickets sold so far. These figures reflect early interest among Telugu-speaking audiences in the U.S.A., where large-scale action films often draw enthusiastic viewership.
Multilingual Release Set for June 27 With Star Cameos
Kannappa will be available in multiple dubbed versions alongside Telugu, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English. The film's premise centers on the transformation of an atheist tribal hunter into an ardent devotee of Shiva-a story rooted in folklore and devotional mythology.
Vishnu Manchu plays the titular role, with a supporting cast that includes Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, and Preity Mukhundhan. The film also features high-profile cameo appearances by actors Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal, adding star appeal to the ensemble.
Principal photography began in September 2023, with major portions shot in New Zealand. The original score and songs have been composed by Stephen Devassy, with recording and sound mixing handled at Annapurna Studios. Notably, choreographers like Prabhudeva, Brinda, and Ganesh have worked on the film's musical sequences, while action scenes have been designed by Kecha Khamphakdee.
Twenty Four Frames Factory and AVA Entertainment serve as the production houses behind Kannappa. With advance sales in the U.S. showing early momentum, attention now turns to the film's performance once it hits screens globally on 27th June.
