Prabhas As 'Mighty Rudra' From Kannappa Earns Mixed Reactions: The 'Darling' star of the country, Prabhas, who is gearing up with a horror-comedy film titled 'The Raja Saab,' under the direction of Maruthi, is also part of Manchu Vishnu's upcoming fantasy film Kannappa. The multi-starrer with Prabhas in key role has a plethora of renowned actors from all the major film industries of the country. Prabhas' first look as 'The Mighty Rudra' is revealed amid excitement on February 3. The movie will hit the screens worldwide in five languages on April 25 this year.

Manchu Vishnu, who has been awaiting a big break in his career, took the burden of making a fantasy mythological film with star-studded cast and a whopping budget. The movie was shot majorly in New Zealand in a single schedule and the teaser of the film earned mixed reviews. The makers of the film have been introducing each character from their film on every Monday and Prabhas' Rudra character is one of the highlights.

Mixed Reactions From Fans

After the hyped poster reveal, many fans of Prabhas have expressed disappointment along with the neutral Tollywood movie buffs, who made the poster a meme material. 'Prabhas as Rudra from Kannappa is trying hard to meet Rao Ramesh's character from Khaleja' said one while others have attached gifs, dialogues, and references to the poster as their reaction. Produced by Mohan Babu on a budget of about Rs 150 Crore under the AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners, Kannappa movie's cinematography was done by Sheldon Chau and Anthony worked as the editor. Stephen Devassy is working on the entire music and score.
