Kannappa Release Postponed Indefinitely: Manchu Vishnu's most prestigious film of his career, the big-budget and star-studded mythological fantasy action drama, Kannappa, is supposed to hit the screens worldwide on a humongous scale on April 25. The latest update from the actor-producer officiates the film's postponement.

Kannappa is one of the biggest and heaviest projects of Tollywood ever. On a budget of about Rs 100 Crore, Manchu Vishnu and Mohan Babu are producing the popular story of Shiva's devotee 'Thinnadu' under their AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory banners. The movie's shooting was completed a long time ago and it was shot across the picturesque locales of New Zealand for more than 70%. The recently released teaser earned a positive response from the audiences and the negativity started to vanish after the drop of the 'Shiva' song.

Kannappa POSTPONED

Manchu Vishnu, who is also the President of the Movie Artists Association (MAA), took to his social media handles to share the update about Kannappa's postponement. He said, "Dear Fans, well-wishers, and movie lovers.. Bringing #Kannappa to life has been an incredible journey and we are committed to delivering a cinematic spectacle that meets the Highest Standards. To ensure this, we need a few more weeks to perfect a key episode requiring extensive VFX work. This means the release of the project will be a bit delayed.

We sincerely regret the wait and understand the anticipation surrounding this film. I truly appreciate your patience and support it means everything to us. Kannappa is a tribute to Lord Shiva's greatest devotee, and we want to present it in the most extraordinary way possible.

The fantasy drama stars Manchu Vishnu in the titular role, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Madhoo, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmaji, Karunas, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Aishwariyaa Bhaskaran, Preity Mukhundhan, Devaraj, Siva Balaji, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Saptagiri, and Lavi Pajni among others in key roles.
