Kingdom International Censor Review: Vijay Deverakonda, who was last seen in The Family Star, is all over the headlines today and rightfully so. After all, he is coming with his first release of the year. We are talking about Kingdom which is a spy action thriller. Written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie has been creating waves in the town ever since it was announced for several reasons. To note, Kingdom marks Gowtam's return to direction after three years.

Also starring Satyadev, Bhagyashri Borse, Goparaju Ramana, Manish Chaudhri, Baburaj etc, Kingdom marks Vijay's first collaboration with Gowtam. Interestingly, Kingdom is the first installment of a planned duology and revolves around an undercover police constable who is on a secret mission for his brother. The trailer so far has managed to create a massive buzz not just in India but across the world

In a tweet shared by Dubai based self proclaimed critic Umair Sandhu, Kingdom is a one man show carried by Vijay Deverakonda. "He stole the Show in movie specially terrific action stunts by him. Story and screenplay is mediocre," he tweeted. Furthermore, Umair called Kingdom a decent mass entertainer and gave the movie 3 stars.

On the other hand, BBFC gave it a rating of 'suitable to watch for audience above 15 years of age' and mentioned, "There are intense scenes of strong violence in substantial bloody detail throughout. People are stabbed, shot, slashed, and impaled, resulting in blood spurts. Characters are threatened with guns and knives, often during intense and prolonged sequences. There are upsetting scenes centred around bereavement".

Meanwhile, Vijay's rumoured ladylove Rashmika Mandanna had expressed her excitement over Kingdom release and tweeted, "I can't wait for the 31st now! We can see the fire @TheDeverakonda (cherry blossom and pink heart emojis). You three geniuses!! I am very very curious to see what you guys have created together.. @gowtam19 @anirudhofficial (red heart emojis). Can't waittttt!!!!!! #KingdomOnJuly31st - let's gooooo!
