Kingdom Release Date Postponed: The release of the much-awaited Telugu spy thriller Kingdom, featuring Vijay Deverakonda, has been delayed. Originally slated for release on May 30, 2025, the film will now hit theaters on July 4, 2025. The delay, as announced by the film's makers, comes in response to "unforeseen events in the country" and the current atmosphere, which have hindered the film's promotional activities.

In a statement released by the producers, they expressed their desire to present the film in the best possible way. "We explored every possibility to stick to the original date, but recent unforeseen events and the current atmosphere have made it difficult for us to move forward with promotions or celebrations," the statement said. The filmmakers also emphasized their commitment to creative excellence and hoped that audiences would appreciate the film when it is finally released.

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is intended to be the first part of a planned duology. This project marks Gowtam Tinnanuri's return to direction after his previous successes. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in a leading role, with Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in pivotal parts. The film is being produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, with production handled by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Principal photography for Kingdom commenced in June 2023, with filming taking place across multiple locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. The music for the film is scored by Anirudh Ravichander, with cinematography managed by Girish Gangadharan and Jomon T. John. Editing is managed by Naveen Nooli.

With the new release date set for July 4, 2025, the film now has the opportunity to build momentum over the next couple of months. The makers hope this change will allow them to deliver the film in its best form.
