Kingdom Release Date Promo Out Now: Vijay Deverakonda's Spy Thriller Locks Its Big Day: Watch Video

Kingdom Release Date: After months of anticipation and several postponements, the makers of Kingdom, the upcoming Telugu spy action thriller, have finally confirmed the film's theatrical release date. A 44-second promo video dropped today revealed that the film, starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, will hit cinemas worldwide on July 31, 2025. Check out the promo below:

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by S. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Kingdom has been in the works for over two years. The project was first announced in January 2023 under the tentative title VD12. The official title-Kingdom-was unveiled in February 2025, followed by a teaser release on February 12 of the same year. That teaser, which featured a voiceover by actor NTR Jr, helped stir significant interest among audiences.

Vijay Deverakonda's Spy Thriller Moves Closer to Release

Principal photography for the film began in mid-2023 and reportedly took place across various Indian and international locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. The film also brings together a high-profile crew. Anirudh Ravichander is scoring the music, while the visuals are being handled by cinematographers Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan. Naveen Nooli is the editor of the movie.

The new promo, released today on social media by the film's production team, confirms that the theatrical release is scheduled for July 31. It offers brief glimpses of the action sequences featured in the film. The Tamil version of the promo is also available.

Alongside Vijay Deverakonda, the film also features Satyadev and Bhagyashri Borse in key roles. The project is presented by Srikara Studios and is intended to serve as the first part of a duology.

The crew includes production designer Avinash Kolla, costume designer Neeraja Kona, choreographers Dar Gai and Vijay Binni, and action directors Yannick Ben, Chethan D'Souza, and Real Satish. Visual effects are overseen by Vasudeva Rao M, with sound design by Sync Cinema. The audio rights are with Aditya Music.

With the release date now confirmed, Kingdom is expected to roll out further promotional material in the coming weeks as it heads toward its July 31 release.
