Kingdom Release Date: Vijay Deverakonda's Spy Thriller To Get New Release Date Soon, Teaser On The Way

Kingdom Release Date: An official announcement regarding the release date of the upcoming Telugu spy thriller Kingdom, starring Vijay Deverakonda, is expected to be made soon. In a recent social media update, producer S. Naga Vamsi hinted that a teaser unveiling the new release date, along with a song announcement, is just around the corner.

Directed and written by Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is being produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The film features Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev in prominent roles alongside Deverakonda, and marks the first part of a planned two-part series.

Kingdom Nears Completion, Release Date Awaited

The project, initially known as VD12, was announced in January 2023. In February 2025, the makers formally announced the film's title as Kingdom. Principal photography reportedly began in mid-2023 and took place across various locations, including Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Kerala, and Sri Lanka. The music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while cinematography has been handled by Jomon T. John and Girish Gangadharan. Editing duties have been undertaken by National Award winner Naveen Nooli.

Initially slated for a theatrical release on March 28, 2025, the film was postponed due to incomplete post-production work. A new release date of May 30, 2025, was then announced but eventually pushed again. Speculation later arose about a potential July 4 release, but this too remained unconfirmed.

In his latest post, Naga Vamsi acknowledged the delays and fan frustration. Writing in a mix of Telugu and English, he said, "I know whatever I post, sweet curses follow. But our team is working round the clock to deliver a massive big-screen experience." Emphasizing the film's intensity, he added, "The adrenaline rush this film delivers is unreal."

While refraining from giving a specific date, the producer assured fans that both a teaser revealing the new release date and a song from the soundtrack would be released soon.

The previously released teaser, which featured a voiceover by Jr. NTR in the Telugu version, helped set the tone for the film's scale and genre.

Kingdom boasts an extensive crew, including production designer Avinash Kolla, costume designer Neeraja Kona, and multiple action choreographers such as Yannick Ben, Chethan D'Souza, and Real Satish. The VFX is supervised by Vasudeva Rao M, and sound design is by Sync Cinema.

With production delays finally appearing to near their end, all eyes are now on the promised teaser, which is expected to offer clarity on the film's new release timeline.
