Kousalya Supraja Rama Telugu OTT Release Date: Kousalya Supraja Rama OTT Release: The Kannada realistic drama Kousalya Supraja Rama, directed by Shashank and co-produced by B. C. Patil, features Darling Krishna, Brinda Acharya, and Milana Nagaraj in the lead roles. The film is penned by Yadunandan.

Released on July 28, 2023, the film garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences. It went on to become a commercial success, grossing over ₹15 crores at the box office and ranking among the highest-grossing films of the year.

Nearly two years after its original release, the makers have opted to bring the Telugu-dubbed version online. Kousalya Supraja Rama is set to stream on ETV Win starting February 27.The platform announced the update on X (formerly Twitter), stating:

The digital rights of the original Kannada version were acquired by Amazon Prime, where it premiered on September 15, 2023, and is now available for streaming. The film later had its television premiere on Zee Kannada on October 7, 2023.

Kousalya Supraja Rama Synopsis

Rama, shaped by his father Siddegowda's toxic masculinity, faces a wake-up call after losing love due to his own flaws. Following his mother's death, he marries Muthulakshmi, an alcoholic with a troubled past. As he helps her recover, Rama uncovers the root of her addiction, confronts his past mistakes, and ultimately transforms, finding redemption and happiness.

Darling Krishna plays the role of Rama, while Brinda Acharya portrays his former love interest, Shivani, and Milana Nagaraj essays the character of his wife, Muthulakshmi. Rangayana Raghu takes on the role of Rama's father, Siddegowda, while Sudha Belawadi plays his mother, Kousalya. The ensemble cast also features Achyuth Kumar as Sathyanath and Nagabhushana as Santhu.

Kousalya Supraja Rama is produced under the banners of Kourava Production House and Shashank Cinemass, with B. C. Patil, Vanaja Patil, Shrusti Patil, Raghavendra P. S., and Ramesha K. as producers. Co-produced by N. Hanumantha Rao, Prakash Chand Kakariya, and Mukesh Kumar Jain, the film is directed by Shashank. Arjun Janya composed the music, with cinematography by Sugnan and editing by Giri Mahesh, assisted by associate editor Mahadevayya Hiremat. DI was handled by Unifi Media (Bengaluru), with Vasanth as the colorist. Sound design was done by Rahul Rajan (Akash Studio), while VFX was provided by Pinaka Studios. Santhosh Radhakrishnan worked on the title animation, Kaani Studios handled publicity design, and Ashwin Ramesh (Win Designs) created the thumbnail design. The trailer's stereo mix was done by Naveen, and the music label is Saregama India Limited, a part of the A RPSG Group Company.
