Kuberaa Day 4 Dhanush Film Earns 55 Cr in India

Kuberaa Box Office Collection: Kuberaa, the bilingual crime drama directed by Sekhar Kammula, has completed its first weekend at the box office and entered the weekday phase with a notable dip in collections. After a steady three-day run, the film witnessed a significant drop on Day 4, which is in line with usual Monday trends, especially for films that cater to both mass and multiplex audiences.

As per data from Sacnilk, the film, which hit the screens on June 20, 2025, opened to a respectable ₹14.75 crore on Friday, collecting across Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi versions. It gained momentum over the weekend with ₹16.5 crore on Saturday and ₹17.35 crore on Sunday, indicating decent weekend footfalls. However, early estimates suggest that Kuberaa earned around ₹6.50 crore on Monday, bringing its four-day total to ₹55.10 crore net across India.

Bilingual Crime Drama on Power and Ambition

Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, Kuberaa features an ensemble cast led by Dhanush and Nagarjuna, with Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil playing pivotal roles. The narrative revolves around a secret operation involving a hidden oil reserve in the Bay of Bengal, orchestrated by a powerful businessman and a former CBI officer. As the story unfolds in Mumbai, themes of betrayal, desperation, and unexpected alliances emerge.

The film had been in the making for quite some time, with its official announcement dating back to June 2021. The film was reportedly shot over a span of three months, from February to April 2024. The title was revealed in March that year, raising anticipation among fans of both lead actors.

Take a Poll

The technical team includes Devi Sri Prasad for music, Niketh Bommireddy handling cinematography, Karthika Srinivas as editor, and production design by veteran Thota Tharani. Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP has partnered with Amigos Creations to produce the film.

While the film's weekend performance provided a solid start, the real test lies in its weekday hold. Kuberaa still has an open window to build on its domestic tally in the days ahead.
