Kuberaa Box Office Collection Day 9: Dhanush And Nagarjuna's Movie Sees Modest Growth Over Second Saturday

Kuberaa Box Office Day 9 Dhanush-Nagarjuna Film Grows

Kuberaa Box Office Collection: Kuberaa, the bilingual crime drama starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna, continues its run at the Indian box office with a slight uptick in collections on its ninth day. After earning ₹2.5 crore on its second Friday, early estimates suggest the film brought in around ₹4.25 crore on Saturday (Day 9), pushing its total India net collection to approximately ₹75.75 crore across all languages.

Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the film was released theatrically on June 20, 2025. It was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil, with dubbed versions in Hindi and Kannada. The ensemble cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil in key roles.

Kuberaa had a strong opening weekend, collecting ₹14.75 crore on Day 1, followed by ₹16.5 crore and ₹17.35 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. However, the film saw a noticeable drop in weekday collections. By the end of its first week, the total stood at ₹69 crore. With the second weekend underway, Saturday's slight growth over Friday suggests the film might see a marginal improvement in collections depending on Sunday's footfalls.

Language-wise, the Telugu version has contributed the largest share so far, followed by Tamil and smaller portions from Hindi and Kannada versions.

Behind the Scenes: Production Timeline and Creative Team

Set against a backdrop of corporate greed and political intrigue, Kuberaa follows the story of Neeraj Mitra, a powerful businessman who discovers a hidden oil reserve and draws an imprisoned CBI officer, Deepak Tej, into a covert mission. Dhanush plays Deva Kallam, a man caught in the middle of this secret operation, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays Sameera, a woman stranded in Mumbai who becomes entangled in the events that follow.

Take a Poll

The film was announced in 2021 and went into production in early 2024. With music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, and production design by Thota Tharani, Kuberaa brings together a seasoned technical team.

As the film heads into its second Sunday, the coming days will be crucial in assessing its long-term box office trajectory. Whether it can hold momentum through the week will determine its standing among other big releases this season.
