Kuberaa: Hit Or Flop? Sekhar Kammula's latest directorial venture Kuberaa released worldwide today, and early audience reactions are beginning to surface across social media platforms. The journey of Kuberaa began in June 2021 when it was initially referred to as D51-marking Dhanush's 51st film. After Nagarjuna joined the cast, the project was briefly titled DNS (Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Sekhar) before officially becoming Kuberaa in March 2024. Filming commenced in February 2024, with key portions shot in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The technical team includes cinematographer Niketh Bommireddy, editor Karthika Srinivas R, and production designer Thota Tharani. Music for the film has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad, marking his third project with Dhanush and his first with Kammula. The soundtrack rights were acquired by Aditya Music, and two singles-"Poyiraa Mama" / "Poyivaa Nanba" and "Anaganaga Kadha" / "Kadha Kadha Kadhai"-were released ahead of the film's debut.

Promotional activities for Kuberaa included a pre-release event held in Hyderabad on June 15, which featured the core team and a special appearance by filmmaker S. S. Rajamouli, who launched the official trailer.
