Kuberaa North America Box Office Collection: Dhanush And Nagarjuna's Movie Crosses $1.3 Million In 2 Days

Kuberaa North America Box Office Collection: Sekhar Kammula's bilingual crime drama Kuberaa, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna, has made a strong start at the North American box office. The film has reportedly crossed $1.32 million in gross collections within just a few days of its theatrical run in the region, according to its overseas distributor Prathyangira Cinemas.
The update was shared by the distributor through a social media post, which read: "$1.32 Million+ and STILL RAGING! Kuberaa creates a STORM at the North America Box Office!" Industry tracker Bheeshma Talks also noted the film's performance on X (formerly Twitter), writing: "Brand of #ShekarKammula in North America. #Kuberaa opens strong with impressive premieres and Day 1, Day 2 Early collections, raking in $1M."
The film's North American premiere generated early momentum, with collections from early screenings and the first two days contributing significantly to the $1 million milestone. The trend suggests that Kuberaa is resonating with the diaspora audience, particularly fans of both Dhanush and Nagarjuna, whose presence in a politically tinged crime drama has added to the film's draw.
Bilingual crime drama sees strong overseas start
Kuberaa is jointly produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and features a multi-star cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. With music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, the film unfolds against the backdrop of a high-stakes conspiracy linked to a hidden oil reserve in the Bay of Bengal.
Principal photography for Kuberaa was completed between February and April 2024, and the film's title was officially revealed in March 2025. Upon its global release on June 20, the film was met with positive critical response and a strong initial turnout, especially in overseas markets like the United States and the UK.
With the weekend underway, all eyes are on whether Kuberaa can sustain its momentum and move toward higher box office milestones. The film's blend of narrative intrigue and star power appears to have given it a strong foothold in the competitive overseas market.
