Kuberaa Pre-Release Event: The much-awaited pre-release event of Kuberaa, the upcoming multilingual social thriller directed by Sekhar Kammula, is being held today, June 15, at the JRC Convention Centre in Hyderabad. Starting at 6 PM, the event will also feature the official trailer launch. Those unable to attend in person can watch the event live on Aditya Music's official YouTube channel.

This event was originally scheduled for June 13, but the team postponed it in response to the tragic Ahmedabad flight crash that claimed over 200 lives. The film's producers made the announcement on June 12, stating that the delay was a gesture of respect towards the victims and their families. On June 13, the team confirmed the rescheduled date.

In a social media post shared on June 14, the makers explained their decision to unveil the trailer during the event rather than releasing it online earlier. "We've collectively felt that the true essence of the trailer can only be felt in the right atmosphere, with our cast, crew, and audience together," the note read. They added that the team wanted the launch to be a shared experience and opted for a live release during the pre-release event.

Kuberaa Overview

Directed and co-written by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. The film was officially announced in June 2021 under the tentative title D51, referencing Dhanush's 51st leading role. After Nagarjuna joined the cast, it was briefly referred to as DNS, highlighting the collaboration between Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Sekhar.

Principal photography began in February 2024, with major portions filmed in Hyderabad and Mumbai. The film is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. Sonali Narang presents the project.

The film features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Two singles, "Poyiraa Mama" and "Anaganaga Kadha," have already been released, and the teaser, titled Trance of Kuberaa, dropped on May 25.

With the theatrical release scheduled for June 20, today's event marks a crucial step in Kuberaa's final promotional phase.
