Kuberaa: Sai Pallavi's Heartfelt Shoutout To Dhanush And Nagarjuna Gets Fans Talking As Film Hits Theaters

Sai Pallavi shares a heartfelt message as Kuberaa releases worldwide: As Kuberaa, the latest offering from director Sekhar Kammula, opened in cinemas across the globe today, actor Sai Pallavi shared a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), extending her wishes to the team behind the multilingual film. In her note, she acknowledged the efforts of the cast and crew while also offering specific words of encouragement and admiration for her colleagues and longtime collaborators.

Sai Pallavi, who has previously worked with Sekhar Kammula in Love Story (2021), referred to him as her "Guru" and praised his influence on a generation of viewers and creators. She described Kuberaa as "special for many reasons," highlighting Dhanush's choice of complex characters, Nagarjuna's role under Kammula's direction, and Rashmika Mandanna's presence in what she described as a powerfully written female character-something Kammula is known for.

Kuberaa features a pan-Indian cast and crew.

Produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Rammohan Rao under Amigos Creations and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Kuberaa features an ensemble cast including Dhanush, Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil. The film, a social thriller shot in both Telugu and Tamil, was officially announced in June 2021 as D51. It was later referred to as DNS-after the initials of Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Sekhar-before being officially titled Kuberaa in March 2024.

Principal photography for the film commenced in February 2024, with Hyderabad and Mumbai serving as primary locations. The technical crew includes cinematographer Niketh Bommireddy, editor Karthika Srinivas R, and production designer Thota Tharani. Music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, who previously collaborated with Dhanush and now works with Kammula for the first time. Aditya Music acquired the film's audio rights, with singles "Poyiraa Mama" / "Poyivaa Nanba" and "Anaganaga Kadha" / "Kadha Kadha Kadhai" released prior to the film.

A pre-release event was held on June 15 in Hyderabad, where S. S. Rajamouli launched the official trailer. The event featured appearances by the lead cast and crew.

As Kuberaa begins its theatrical run, Sai Pallavi's public message stands out as a gesture of solidarity and celebration-marking her continued support for the team and the creative ethos behind the film.
