Kuberaa Worldwide Box Office Collection: Dhanush And Nagarjuna Movie Eyes ₹100 Crore Mark After Strong Weekend

Kuberaa Worldwide Box Office Collection: Sekhar Kammula's bilingual crime drama Kuberaa has concluded its first weekend at the global box office with a reported gross of ₹75 crore, according to industry trackers. The film, starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna, was released worldwide on June 20, 2025, and is currently in its fifth day in cinemas.

Film tracker AB George shared on X that the three-day worldwide collection stands at ₹75 crore. He further added that the film is "marching towards ₹100 crore" globally. Meanwhile, Cinetrak reported that the opening weekend performance places Kuberaa nearly on par with Raayan, another recent release featuring Dhanush, which delivered similar global figures during its first three days.

According to Cinetrak's breakdown, the domestic gross from India accounts for approximately ₹53.25 crore, while the international markets contributed $2.52 million, roughly ₹21.75 crore. Together, these figures form the global gross of ₹75 crore. The majority of the film's domestic revenue comes from the Telugu version, with the Tamil version reportedly underperforming in comparison.

Kuberaa: Crime Drama on Power and Betrayal

Kuberaa was simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and is set against the backdrop of Mumbai. The story follows a powerful businessman who initiates a covert plan to tap into an undisclosed oil reserve in the Bay of Bengal. To execute this, he enlists a former CBI officer, Deepak Tej (played by Nagarjuna), who is currently imprisoned. Deepak, under pressure, recruits a group of unsuspecting individuals-including Deva (Dhanush), a naive man from Tirupati-to carry out the operation. What unfolds is a high-stakes chase involving betrayal, danger, and survival.

Rashmika Mandanna plays Sameera, a woman Deva meets during his escape. The cast also includes Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, K. Bhagyaraj, Sayaji Shinde, Nassar, and Jayaprakash in supporting roles.

The film was first announced in June 2021, with principal shooting conducted between February and April 2024. The title was officially revealed in March 2024.
