Kunchacko Boban & Priyamani's Malayalam Blockbuster Crime-Thriller Officer On Duty Gears Up For Telugu Debut

Officer On Duty Telugu Version Release Date Locked: Starring Kunchacko Boban and Priyamani in the lead roles, Officer On Duty is a Malayalam crime-thriller directed by debutant Jithu Ashraf. The movie was released on February 20 to highly positive response from the movie buffs and critics; and is continuing to set the cash registers ringing. Officer on Duty is made on a budget of about Rs 12 Crore and has already surpassed Rs 30 Crore within seven days of its release from all over the world.

Mythri Movie Makers, the leading production house in Tollywood, who are also producing Ajith Kumar's 'Good Bag Ugly' in their Kollywood debut, is presenting the movie in Telugu by buying the theatrical rights. Titled the same, the crime-thriller will hit the screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on March 7.

Officer On Duty Synopsis

Harishankar, a demoted Circle Inspector, takes on a fake gold jewelry case but soon finds himself caught in a dangerous web of vengeful criminals. As the tension escalates, he must navigate unforeseen twists that threaten not just his career but also his life.

Written by Shahi Kabir, the film is produced by Martin Prakkat, Renjith Nair, and Siby Chavara. Roby Varghese Raj handled cinematography, Jakes Bejoy composed the music, and Chaman Chakko oversaw editing, with Saiju Sreedharan editing the film.
