Laila Box Office Prediction Day 2: Following a heavy backlash even before the movie hit the screens, Vishwak Sen's latest romantic action-comedy titled 'Laila,' became one of the disastrous films so far in 2024. Written and directed by Ram Narayan, the movie in which Vishwak Sen played a female character 'Laila' for the first time, created a grand pre-release buzz for numerous reasons.

During the pre-release event that was attended by all the cast and crew with megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest, actor Prudhvi (30 years industry) visibly made an arrogant and distasteful comments about a leading political party of Andhra Pradesh. Things did not settle well with the fans of the party as well as a section of movie buffs, who started 'Boycott Laila' trend and it has over 110 K tweets. On the release day, the movie trended on 'DisasterLaila' hashtag with over 50K tweets.

According to the film's trailer, Laila is the story of a wanna-be model Sonu, a hairdresser. His courageous rift with a local rowdy makes him a target. As many groups begin to hunt him down, he changes his look into a woman named Laila, thereby luring everyone who wants to kill Sonu.
