Vishwak Sen's Laila Incurs Loss For Producers: One of the career's biggest mistake is what fans and movie critics of Tollywood are opining about Vishwak Sen's latest romantic comedy-action film titled Laila. Written and directed by Ram Narayan, the movie in which Vishwak Sen donned a female getup, has become a troll material for the memers for its "cringe" and "out-date" cheap content. The movie was released to negative buzz and poor reviews on February 14 worldwide.

Laila Synopsis
Sonu (Vishwak Sen) is a wanna-be model who works as a hairdresser in his own studio. He is one of the most sought-after by the women in his area. Sonu's brush-off with local goon Rustum (Abhimanyu Singh) and SI Shankar (Babloo Prithviraj) prompts him to take cover. Sonu then decides to change his identity to a woman named Laila. What Happens Next, is all about the romantic comedy entertainer Laila.

Laila Producer Incurs Loss Over Rs 6 Crore?
Reportedly, according to a piece of news on Greatandhra, the producer of Shine Screens, Sahu Garapati, lost over Rs 5-6 Crore on Laila. The major chunk of the benefit he made was from selling the digital rights. Amazon Prime Video spent a decent sum on acquiring the rights.

Owing to the flop talk and immense negativity surrounding Laila, there were almost zero bookings in about 50% of theatres. Many theatres have pulled out Laila from their theatres already. The movie is also likely to get its OTT streaming date very soon.

Laila Cast & Crew
The movie stars Vishwak Sen in two roles- Sonu Model and Laila. In addition, the romantic entertainer has Aakanksha Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Ravi Mariya, Nagineedu, Harsha Vardhan, Brahmaji, Babloo Prithveeraj, Raghu Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, and Vineet Kumar among others in key roles.

Written by Vasudeva Murthy, the movie was directed by Ram Narayan. Sahu Garapati produced it under the Shine Screens banner. Richard Prasad and Sagar Dadi worked as the film's cinematographer and editor. Leon James composed the film's entire background score and music.
