Ahead of its debut on March 28, MAD Square movie's advance bookings touched a few milestones, standing as a testimony to the craze the movie enjoys.

MAD Square is a sequel to the 2023 film titled Mad, which met with a thumping response at the box office after it was released theatrically on October 6, 2023. The success was resounding as the film earned Rs 26 Crore by the end of its theatrical run against a budget of Rs 8 Crore. The beginning of mad fun at the summer box office with MAD Square began today as the movie is raving good reviews and is filling-fast for the rest of the shows on weekends.

The sequel starts with the senior Laddu's marriage. The three friends set out to take Laddu on a bachelor's trip before he gets hitched. They start a thrilling ride to Goa filled with obstacles and drama.

The post-theatrical digital rights of the MAD Square movie are bought for a lucrative sum by the leading OTT giant, Netflix. The streaming platform is nowadays splurging on Tollywood films and secured the rights for all languages. After completing its successful theatrical run, which will likely last another four weeks, MAD Square movie will make its grand streaming debut on the platform with subtitles. As per the understanding, MAD Square will likely hit the OTT platform in the first week of May. An official date of release will be announced later.

Written and directed by Kalyan Shankar, the movie's music and background score were composed by Bheems Ceciroleo. Shamdat Sainudeen worked as the cinematographer and Navin Nooli handled the film's editing. MAD Square was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsy and Sai Soujanya under the Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners. Srikara Studios presented the film.
