Madha Gaja Raja Telugu Release Date Confirmed: Vishal and Sundar C's 12-year-old film titled Madha Gaja Raja finally hit the screens for Pongal of 2025 on January 12 amid decent expectations. The movie's promotional event attended by a visibly ill Vishal generated curiosity and intrigue around the release. The movie, a romantic action-comedy, however, sprung a surprise by becoming highly successful and registered a great start to the Kollywood box office. Against a budget of Rs 15 Crore, Madha Gaja Raja, which is continuing steady performance at the theatres, made Rs 45.20 Crore already. Doubtless, Madha Gaja Raja movie put Vishal back in the much-awaited success track, once again after Mark Antony.

Following the success of Madha Gaja Raja in Tamil, coupled with the market Vishal has in Telugu, the makers of the film decided to dub the movie and release it for the native speakers of the two Telugu states. Sundar C is also a popular name in Tollywood for his horror series Aranmanai. The movie is expected to do a good run in Telugu as well. The official date of release was confirmed as January 31 through a poster.

Sundar C's directorial stars Vishal in the title role and Santhanam as Kalyanasundaram. Anjali played the role of Madhavi while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was seen as Maya. Sonu Sood as Karukuvel Vishwanath, Manivannan as an auto driver, Raj Kapoor, Subbaraju, Nithin Sathya, Sadagoppan Ramesh, Munna Simon, John Kokken, Rajendran, late Manobala, Ajay Rathnam, Shakeela, Chelladurai, Vichu Vishwanath, and Muthukaalai among others played prominent roles in the film.

Venkat Raghavan co-wrote Madha Gaja Raja with Sundar C. Produced by Gemini Film Circuit and Benzz Media Pvt.Ltd banners, the movie's entire music and score were composed by Vijay Antony. Richard M. Nathan cranked the camera, while Praveen K.L. and N.B. Srikanth worked as the editors.
