Malavika Mohanan On Her Big Telugu Debut With Prabhas: I Wanted A Good Launch, And I Always...

Malavika Mohanan has always been intentional about the choices she makes in her career. From delivering critically acclaimed performances in Malayalam films to carving a niche for herself in Tamil and Hindi cinema, the actress has consistently chosen quality over quantity. And now, she's all set to add another feather to her cap - her much-awaited Telugu debut alongside superstar Prabhas.

Talking about her entry into the Telugu film industry, Malavika revealed that this wasn't just any project for her - it was a dream debut she had been patiently waiting for. "I currently have a Telugu debut, which is with Prabhas, I actually got a lot of work for us from Telugu, but I was always very adamant about the fact that, you know, I want to, like, enter that industry with a bang. I wanted a good launch, and I always wanted to pair with an actor that I really admire, and I've always admired Prabhas, especially I am big Baahubali Fan," she shared. For Malavika, being cast opposite Prabhas feels like a full-circle moment, given how long she has admired him from afar.

Sharing her experience of working with the Pan-India star, Malavika also revealed a sweet gesture from Prabhas that perfectly reflects his warm and generous nature. "When you start filming with him, he sends you so much food for you and your team. It's like, it's ten vessels this size (gesturing with hands), and I'm not even joking. It's humongous vessels that can feed, like, at least 30-40 people," she recalled with a smile.

Malavika's upcoming slate of films looks equally exciting. Apart from The RajaSaab with Prabhas, she will also be seen in Hridayapoorvam alongside Mohanlal and Sardar 2 with Karthi. With every new project, Malavika continues to explore diverse roles and strengthen her presence across industries.
