Nagarjuna Praises DSP’s Track And Innovative Storytelling In Kuberaa

Nagarjuna Praises DSP s Track And Innovative Storytelling

As anticipation builds for Kuberaa, Nagarjuna Akkineni has heaped praise on the film's recently released teaser and music, calling it a bold, genre-defining move that left him both "tranced" and proud.

Highlighting the electrifying composition by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), Nagarjuna shared, "When I heard the song, I thought it was fantastic-it really puts you in a trance. In Telugu, we call it ponakalu-it takes you into that kind of hysteria."

The actor was equally thrilled to learn that the teaser's sharp, emotionally resonant cut was crafted by Sushrit, a student from Annapurna College of Film and Media. "What a fantastic cut it is. When I found out it was done by a boy from our own college, I was so happy," Nagarjuna said.

Commending director Sekhar Kammula's unconventional creative decision, he added, "It's very difficult to think of a teaser based entirely on a song while still telling a story-but he's done it brilliantly. The Hindi and Telugu lyrics are outstanding."

Kuberaa stars Nagarjuna Akkineni, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna, with music composed by DSP. The film is presented in North India by Mugafi, which also spearheads its distribution in the region.

Produced under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, and co-produced by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth, Kuberaa will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, ensuring it resonates with audiences across the country.

Kuberaa hits theatres worldwide on 20th June 2025.
