Odela 2 On April 17: Tamannaah's Horror-Thriller Makes Lucrative Non-Theatrical Business & Pre-Release Deal

Odela 2 Theatrical Business Brings Fancy Numbers: Filmmaker Sampath Nandi wrote the story for a supernatural thriller starring Tamannaah in the lead role with Ashok Teja as the director. The movie titled Odela 2 is a sequel to a thriller named Odela Railway Station, and is going to hit the screens worldwide on April 17. The makers have decided to dub the movie and release it in other languages including Hindi, owing to the actress' image and market. Made on a budget of about Rs 25 Crore, the movie showcases Tamannaah in a never-seen-before avatar.

The movie as a sequel explores the hidden issues within the village of Odela, which is safeguarded by Odela Mallanna Swamy. Tamannaah Bhatia played the role of a female Aghora named Shiva Shakthi. When the Odela village gets engulfed by evil forces, Shiva Shakthi takes over.s

Solid Theatrical Deal For Tamannaah-starrer
As per the trade analyses and the almost official information, Tamannaah's image helped Odela 2 movie crack a rock-solid pre-release theatrical deal.

Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and overseas rights of the film are acquired by Shankar Pictures for about Rs 10 Crore. The movie's non-theatrical rights like digital rights (OTT) and audio earned another Rs 18 Crore. The movie is yet to finalize the satellite deal. But it made a solid pre-release deal 10 days before the theatrical release. Tamannaah is expecting to regain her place in the industry and is confident about Odela 2.

The supernatural thriller stars Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakthi, Hebah Patel as Radha, Vasishta N. Simha as Tirupati, Murali Sharma as Allah Bakshu, Sharath Lohisaswa, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Srikanth Iyengar, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy among others in key roles.

Written by Sampath Nandi and directed by Ashok Teja, the movie was produced by D Madhu under the Madhu Creations banner in association with Sampath Nandi Teamworks. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the film's music and score. Avinash and Soundararajan worked as Odela 2 movie's editor and cinematographer respectively.
