Odela 2 Theatrical Trailer Impresses Big Time With Content: With Tamannaah as the face of the film, filmmaker Sampath Nandi's latest horror-thriller titled Odela 2 is ringing the right bells ahead of its hyped theatrical release on April 17 worldwide. The movie directed by Ashok Teja is a sequel to the thriller titled 'Odela Railway Station' which won critical applause. Odela 2 movie was made on a budget of Rs 25 Crore and will be released in multiple languages at a time.

Odela 2 Synopsis

In Odela village, Tirupati (Vassishta Simha) abducts and kills newly married women after the day of their marriage. Radha, his wife (Hebah Patel) finds out about this and beheads him. She surrenders to the police. In the sequel, Tirupati is seen becoming a malevolent spirit who continues to torment the villagers after his death. Shiva Shakthi (Tamannaah), who is a devotee of Lord Shiva and lives the life of an Aghora enters Odela village and faces the evil spirit of Tirupati.

Odela 2 Trailer Out

The anticipated theatrical trailer was released online today at 5.04 PM during a pre-release event in Mumbai where the entire unit were present. The trailer was uploaded on the YouTube platform at about 6.30 PM.

In the trailer, the sequel's story was revealed and the actress as an aghora named Shiva Shakthi was fierce and looked intimidating. Tamannaah showcased her potential in a genre that demands unusual level of performance.

Odela 2 Movie's Juicy Pre-release Theatrical & Digital Deals

The movie already struck gold in terms of its theatrical, digital and pre-release business. The Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and overseas theatrical rights fetched Rs 10 Crore and the digital rights along with audio made Rs 18 Crore.

Odela 2 Cast & Crew

The supernatural thriller stars Tamannaah Bhatia as Shiva Shakthi, Hebah Patel as Radha, Vasishta N. Simha as Tirupati, Murali Sharma as Allah Bakshu, Sharath Lohisaswa, Yuva, Naga Mahesh, Vamsi, Gagan Vihari, Surender Reddy, Srikanth Iyengar, Bhupal, and Pooja Reddy among others in key roles.

Written by Sampath Nandi and directed by Ashok Teja, the movie was produced by D Madhu under the Madhu Creations banner in association with Sampath Nandi Teamworks. B. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the film's music and score. Avinash and Soundararajan worked as Odela 2 movie's editor and cinematographer respectively.
